Homocysteinemia is prevalert in haemoctialysis patients . Patients with abnormal perfusion scintigraphy has elevated HCY and CRP . In asymptomatic hoemodialysis patients gated SPECT is a safe and non- invasive screening technique for the detection of coronory artery disease . The presence of ischaemia correlates significantly with markers of inflammation, presented by CRP and with elevated homocysteine level
