The Eastern Nile Countries, namely Egypt , Sudan and Ethiopia are sharing the sub - basins of Baro - Akobo - Sobat, Blue Nile, Tekezze - Settit - Atbara that contribute 85% of the arriving water to Egypt . The different activities of the upstream Nile Basin Countries would affect Egypt by changing the Nile inflow to Lake Nasser in terms of quantity as well as quality
