Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Arts - Department of English Summary: This study presents postcolonial existentialism as a critical perspective that deals with cyberexistence which, in turn, presents as existential mode of being that dissolves both the self, the other and the real as the zone of lived experience . This nascent existential mode departs from the human to the posthuman . The thesis therefore tries to establish its major assumptions on an ontology that relational rather than separational, where human existence is not without anchors of reality
