Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Biochemistry
This work has been carried out to investigate the serum telomerase activity in patients with chronic hepatitis C and hepatocellular carcinoma. The study also will compare between the sensitivity and specificity of (AFP) to that of telomerase activity in diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma. Moreover to evaluate the use of telomerase activity in blood of chronic hepatitis disease patients for early detection of malignant changes hepato-carcinogenesis
