Several classification were suggested for inverted papilloma but none of them was universally accepted or widely used until Krouse introduced his staging system in 2000, based mainly on tumor extent and location. Han, Cannady and Oikawa classified inverted papilloma on similar basis. Two other classification were presented by Kamel and Lee on different basis; tumor origin
