Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics Summary: The current study, showed a significant correlation between U-C interval and BMI of the pregnant women. BMI, in the present study, was one of the factors that increased the U-C interval. No correlation between the duration of fetal extraction, either I-C interval up to 25.5 minutes or U-C interval up to 4.5 minutes, and Apgar score, recorded at 1 minute and 5 minutes
