Acute leukemia, most common childhood cancer, classified into ALL (70-80%) and AML (20%). Recent trial proved that treatment with risk-adjusted paradigm improve event free survival in ALL to 80% and in AML to 50% however more effort still needed, and novel treatment still under investigation. Prodhylactic cranial irradiation can be omitted with new risk adjustad chemotherapy + intrathecal treatment
