In the first experiment of this study, two tomato hybrids, namely; "Agayad 7" and "Jawahar" were used for in vitro regeneration. Hypocotyl and cotyledon explants were isolated from seedings and cultured on modifid MS medium which contains MS salts and B5 vitamins supplemented with 0.5, 1, 2, or 3 mg/1 zeatin. The highest number of shoots were produced in Jawahar hybrid
