The description, design, and development of a multimodal biometric system based on hand geometry, and fingerprints was introduced. The system acquires left and right (Rt/Lt) index and ring fingerprints (FP), and (Rt/Lt) NIR dorsal hand geometry (HG) shape. A dataset of 100 persons were acquired, 5 different images for each biometric signal
