Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Agriculture - Department of Animal Production Summary: The present study was carried out to evaluate the effects of lead and cadmium found in the environment on the performance of buffalo calves fed rations treated with yeast, zinc and EDTA. Twenty animals from Mehalet-Mousa farm were used, five animals for each treatment. Treatments included: the control in which animals were fed a non-treated ration and three treatments, in which animal were fed rations supplemented with yeast, zinc or EDTA
