In this study several advanced pushover techniques are studies to judge their accuracy to acount for the effects of the higher vibration modes on the estimated seismic demands . These multimode pushover techniques are applied on four steel moment resisting frames which are designed according to the Egyptian code and consist of 6, 9, 12 and 15 stories
