This study suggested an effective enrichment technique for isolation of new bacterial strains capable of degrading pyrene from an oily sludge polluted soil sample . The most efficient pyrene degrader RMI was was identified as Micrococcus Luteus , as determined by 165 rDNA gene sequence analysis
