The present investigation aimed to study vegetative, flowering and fruit characteristics in order to evaluate and determine performance of four newly peach cultivars (Hermosillo* and Desert Pearl** and Bokkeveld** and De Wet**) grown in Egypt under desert conditions. This study was conducted during two successive seasons 2007 and 2008 on four years old peach tree budded on Nemaguard rootstock, of uniform growth in sandy soil in a private orchard at Elkhatatba region, Menofia Governorate, Egypt
