Lateral ankle sprain is one of the most common injuries among athletes and other active adults. There are 17-20% of ankle injuries in sports that involve jumping and cutting movements such as basketball, volleyball and soccer. The purpose of the current study was to investigate the effect of pulsed electromagnetic field on the promotion of healing of the grade II ankle sprain through detection of ligament thickness in millimeters
