Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Andrology and S.T.Ds Summary: The aim of this work was to detect the age distribution among Egyptian males self - reporting erectile dysfunction ( ED ) and evaluate various epidemiological factors in patients presenting with ED . This cross sectional study included 1500 patients suffering from ED . Patients were subjected to full history taking and evaluation by IIEF - 5 , the results of the present study revealed that mean age of patients was 49 years prevalence and severity of ED was positively and strongly related to aging and age related co morbidities such as diabetes , hypertendion and IHD
