Ferroresonace is a complex electrical phenomenon in eletrical circuits having at least one non - linear inductor and at least one linear capacitor that is fed by one or more voltage source having a sinusoidal wave shape . In power systems , the most common place to find ferroresonance is with a three - phase distribution transformer energised through an underground cable of moderate length
