Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Inorganic Chemistry Summary: The thesis involves the synthesis and characterization of [Pd(DMPA)C1₂] complex where DMPA = 3- dimethylamino- propylamine . The structure of the complex has been characterized by single crystal x - ray diffraction . Stoichiometry and stability constants of the complexes formed between various biologically relevant ligands (amino acids , peptides DNA constituents and dicarboxylic acids) and [Pd(DMPA)H₂O]²⁺are investigated at 25{u00B0}C and at constant 0.1 M ionic strength
