In the present investigation , a lotal of 362 cows were examined for mastitis . 162 cows ( 44.8 % ) had clinical mastitis while 152 cows ( 41.9 % ) had subclinical mastitis using CMT . The common isolates from the clinical mastitis cases were S. aureus ( 13.5 % ) , E. coli ( 10.5 % ) and Streptococcus species ( 6.8 % )
