This research work is concemed with economic planning process of transmission networks the thesis presents a comparison study between three different and efficient planning methods , using tow different transmission network , the thesis offers a modification for the planning methods that depends on the mixed integer linear programming technique for the purpose of attaining the actual least cost network withoud the need of iterative additions of new lines
