This thesis studies the impact of technological gains on endogenous growing economies . To study such a relation , the case of South Korea and Egypt were examined . The thesis shows that Egypt follows a neolassical economic growth approach . Being mainly factor driven , Egypt faces difficulties in preparing endogenous capabilities to become an innovation driven economy
