Quantum Dot infrared photodetector (QDIP) is one of the promising candidates for the infrared photodetection. Dark current, responsivity, and detectivity are ones of the most important figures of merit for QDIP Thus, different models seek to interpret how these parameters change to predict the behavior of QDIP This in its turn will help much for optimizing the performance of QDIP
