Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Veterinary Medicine - Department of Virology Summary: In these thesis serum and skin lesions were collected from camel suffered from camel pox virus (CPV) infection from different region of South Sina Governorate and Maruit camel farm of the Desert Research Center, serum neutrization test (SNT) applied on the collected serum sample resulted in presence of specific antibody against CPV that ensure the causative agent of the infection is CPV
