This study carries a preliminary analysis of anticipated climate change impacts on available water in the Nile Basin in Rwanda and identifies the local impacts of climate change on water demand for irrigation of land - husbandry water - harvesting and hillside irrigation (LHW) Project . Predictions are using data of three GCMs adopted by IPCC namely (ccma- cgcm3 -1.1; miroc3 -2 medres. 1 and mpi-echam5.1) for the period of 2010 to 2099 based on the A2 and B1 scenarios in the special report on emission scenarios (SRES)
