Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Electronics and Communication Summary: In this thesis } developed a proposed method that merges the holistic and geometric categories of face recognition methods . I used PCA and FLD methods to extract features from 1) full face samples of an individual . 2) close cropped version of the full face samples and3) component - based version of the full face samples and then 1 fuse the features of each version of the samples together and use the resulted fused features to calculate a single score value used to recognize the face
