Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Anaesthesia
Ketofol appears to be a safe and effective alternative for induction in patients with acyanotic congenital heart disease. It permits preservation of hemodynamic stability with minimal respiratory side effects. Sevoflurane is an inhalational anaesthetic that has a rapid onset and offset due to lower solubility in blood. It is pungent, non irritant agent that makes it suitable for inhalational induction agent for children
