Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Veterinary Medicine - Department of Veterinary Hygiene and Management Summary: This presented field study was conducted in five farms in Wadi Elrayan and Qaroun lake in Elfayoum governorate to investigate the frequency distribution of some common bacterial diseases affecting cultured tilapia, pseudomonas spp., Fecal enterococci and Flavobacterium columnaris, and studying the role of aquaculture systems in their dynamic of spread regarding to biosecurity programme involving prestocking structural and operational practices in addition to water quality analysis for final evaluation, validation and risk assessment of possible causes attributed to such pathogens spread
