Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Biochemistry Summary: This work has been carried out to evaluate the role of some biologically active compounds extracted from Opuntia ficus indica cladodes to be utilizable as antidiabetic agents. Finally all the experimental results were evaluated, tabulated and statistically analyzed. It could be concluded that the extracted biologically active compounds from opuntia ficus indica cladodes can be utilized as phytotherapeutic agents for the treatment of human diabetic patients in near future

This work has been carried out to evaluate the role of some biologically active compounds extracted from Opuntia ficus indica cladodes to be utilizable as antidiabetic agents. Finally all the experimental results were evaluated, tabulated and statistically analyzed. It could be concluded that the extracted biologically active compounds from opuntia ficus indica cladodes can be utilized as phytotherapeutic agents for the treatment of human diabetic patients in near future
