This work aims to study the possible role of chronic inflammation induced by E. coli in the induction of bladder cancer in rats and to study the protective role of soybean flour against bladder carcinogenesis. The results indicated that E. coli infection to bladder tissues increase the carcinogenic ability of nitrosamine precursors and this may be due to increase of nitrite production by the bacteria and continuous production of nitrosamine
