Copra meal (CM) and coffee beans (CB) were used for preparation of 26 mannose-containing oligosaccharide-mixture (MOS-mixtures) including: two alcoholic extracted native-OS's. Other 16 MOS-mixtures were attained by the fungal attack of mannose-containing polysaccharides (MPS's present in CM and CB) using Aspergillus niger and Trichoderma reesei, while the last 8 were prepared by the chemical degradation of MPS's
