Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Veterinary Medicine - Department of Microbiology Summary: In this study , 534 intestinal and liver samples were collected from apparently healthy and diseased chickens with diarrhea from different Governorates and during different seasons to be exam ined for Clostridium perfringens . The incidence in a apparently healthy and di seased chickens was 8.39 % and 30 % respectively . It was found that Giza Governorate showed the highest incidence 53.3 %
