It was carried out using two international biofuels ; soybean and rapeseed oils , and three local biofuels ; jatropha , jojoba and sunflower oils . A comparative theoretical investigation was conducted to evaluate the performance and exhaust emissions of a four - stroke , Mercedes - Benz DI diesel engine fuelled with 100 % blends of the five candidate biofuels
