Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Prosthodontics Summary: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of different surface treatments on shear bond strength of 3 types of all ceramic restorations : ( In ceram zirconia ) , lithium disilicate glass ( IPS Empress II ) , in addition to ( Y- TZP Zirconia ) with resin cement . 3 disc shaped ceramic specimens Group ( I ) : In - ceram zironia , Group ( II ) : Y - TZP Zirconia and Group ( III ) : IPS Empress II were used for each test group yielding a tatol number of 60 specimens
