This work was designed in order to investigate the possibility of reducing the need for NPK chemical fertilization as well as improving plant productivity by using bacterial biofertilization as an alternative. The plants of control treatment received only the full recommended rate of NPK chemical fertilization as ammonium sulphate, calcium superphosphate and potassium sulphate
