This study was conducted to evaluate the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity of sweet basil flowers, celery acrial parts, eucalyptus leaves and sage leaves. This work included determination of primary metabolits beside unsaponifiable matter and fatty acid compositions and determination secondary metabolites. The antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity of petroleum ether and methanolic extracts of the studied plants as well as the essential oil extract of sweet basil flowers were evaluated
