This work included determination of primary metabolits beside unsaponifiable matter and fatty acid compositions and determination secondary metabolites. The antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity of petroleum ether and methanolic extracts of the studied plants as well as the essential oil extract of sweet basil flowers were evaluated
