The present work deals with the corrosion behavior of steel coated by a paint, modified by ground zinc phosphate pigment Zn₃(PO₄)₂, down to the submicron range. It was investigated in 3.5% NaC1 solution by EIS, potentiodynamic polarization and salt spray techniques. Zinc phosphate pigment Zn₃(PO₄)₂ was ground for 8 or 16 hours by using planetary ball mills
