Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Biochemistry Summary: In the present work two classes of pesticides (organophosphate and pyrethroid, and their combination) were studied for their developmental neurotoxicity. Dam rats were daily gavages during the first 10 days of lactation with cypermethrin, diazinon, carbimazole, and thyroxin beside the combination of each pesticide with carbimazole or thyroxin. Blood sample, brain and liver were taken after 10 and 21 days post delivery
