This study was applied to detect the ameliorative effect of Mushroom extracts (Agaricus fruit and stem (AW), fruit only (AF), pleurotus fruit and stem (PW), fruit only (PF) on body weight, blood glucose level, lipid profile, liver functions, renal functions, antioxidants in the liver (Glutathione conc, and superoxide dismutase activity) and malondialdehyde conc, in experimental induced diabetic rats by streptozotocin STZ
