By: Contributor(s): Material type: TextTextLanguage: English Publication details: Cairo : Mohamed Ashraf Saad Zaghloul , 2012Description: 79 P. : charts , facsimiles ; 30cmOther title:
  • دراسة عن مركبات الكلاثرات الهيدرات للهيدروجين البسيطة [Added title page title]
Subject(s): Available additional physical forms:
  • Issued also as CD
Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Mathematics and Physics Summary: Raman method of spectroscopy is a powerful tool of studying clathrate hydrates . Those peculiar compounds that exist all around us are formed of guest molecules trapped in molecular cages of another species of molecules acting as hosts . We have analyzed and made a new interpretation of a cluttered region of the Raman spectrum related to the vibrational states with different occupancies and proposed a solution of our own , based on calulations of average occupancy per large cage for samples formed at different synthesis pressures and subjected to heating and quenching cycles
