Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Veterinary Medicine - Department of Clinical Pathology Summary: Affections in musculoskeletal system are the major cause of poor performance in horses . Regarding to prevalence of different musculoskeletal affection , clinical investigation of examined 85 horses revealed that 60 cases were exhibiting lameness . The achieved results revealed a significant neutrophilia and Monocytosis in chronic arthritis comparaed with control group
