Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Mechanical Power Engineering Summary: The present work investigates the effect of increases the forward diffusion angle (k) and varying compound injection angle (Ý) on film cooling effectiveness on the adiabatic wall flat plate . The forward diffusion angle is varied from 0{u00B0} to 10{u00B0} with a step of 5{u00B0} while the compound injection angle is varied from 90{u00B0} to 0{u00B0} with a step of 30{u00B0} . Streamwise injection angle (Ü) is kept constant at 35{u00B0} . Four seies of data are collected at four blowing ratios (M) namely 0.25 , 0.50 , 0,75 and 1.0 the density ratio is kept constant at 1.14
