Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Summary: The scope of this study is to compare the press on metal technique made of different alloys with the conventional ceramic layering technique in terms of marginal adaptation , color and shear bond strength . Twenty copings and twenty disc samples having metal thickness 0.5mm and ceramic thickness 0.7mm were constructed in this study . The coping and discs were equally divided into two group according to the type of alloy as follows : Group ( 1 ) : High noble metal alloy and Group ( 2 ) : Base metal alloy
