Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Agriculture - Department of Agricultural Biochemistry Summary: The present study was under taken to evaluate the effects of pomegranate peel (PP) , pomegranate peel extract (PPE) , pomegranate seed (PS) , pomegranate seed extract (PSE) , celery (C) and celery extract (CE) on rats suffering from CC1₄ . The hepatoprotective period , rats treated with PP , PS and C ethanolic extracts (ingestion 0.3 g/kg bw four times a week ; Tuesday , Wednesday , Friday and Saturday) or fed with dried PP , PS and C (5g/100g diet)
