The study is a retrospective one involving (53) patients diagnosed with multiple myeloma between 2002 - 2007 in the medical oncology department at the National Cancer Institute ,Cairo University and Interal Medicine Department Zagazig University hospital to evaluate the management of multiple myeloma including diagnosis monitoring of disease activity prognostic factors conventional chemotherapy
