Leptin is an emerging important hormone and its function is to control energy homestasis and body weight . Many studies have found relationship between leptin and birthweight . Aim of the work : The purpose of our study was to investigate the relationship between venous umbilical cord plasma leptin and anthropometric markers at birth in a group of Egyptian trem healty newborns
