This research aims at testing the interpolation methods using the Arc-GIS and Rock-work programs through the preliminary borings. The best interpolation method used to draw 2D and 3D problematic soils maps. These maps can represent the problematic soil distribution, layer thickness and depth. In addition, these maps can used to represent the soil properties
