The admission of a newborn to neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)is considered as a cause of stress and tension for parents which leads to difficulty in communication between them and the doctors treating their babies . In this study an Arabic language leaflet was developed as a health education tool for tesing its effect in enhancing communication with NICU parents and an Arabic language questionnaire was used for this issue
