Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Agriculture - Department of Pomology Summary: This study was carried out during two successive seasons of 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 on 6 years old Sun Gold plum trees budded on Mariana rootstock, trees were grown in sandy soil of a private orchard at Badr region, Elbehera Governorate, Egypt. Four heading cut levels treatments were applied in winter, tipping, shortening 1/3, 1/2 of branches length and control (un pollarded) trees with or without some spring and summer applications, NAA at 150 ppm, shoots bending and combination between them
