The aim of our study is to compare the effect of intrauterine administered misoprostol with intravenous infusion of oxytocin during cesarean delivery in prevention of excessive intraoperative and postoperative blood loss. This study was carried out in Elkasr Alainy hospital on eighty full term pregnant females with no risk factors for postpartum hemorrhage, attending department 10 of Kasr Alainy hospital and indicated for cesarean section
