HCV is a global health problem worlwide. Its prevalence ranging from {u227A} 0.5% in very low endemicity countries up to 20% in highly endemic areas, including urban centers and the Nile Delta in Egypt. The percentage of Egyptians with HCV is 14.7%. HIV epidemic has claimed the lives of nearly 30 million persons worlwide, and an estimated 34 million persons currently are living with HIV infection in 2011
