Grain protein content (GPC) of wheat is important for improved nutritional value and is also one of the major factors affecting bread making and pasta quality .The main objective of this study was to improve grain protein content in local wheat cultivars by transferring the GPc-B1 allele from wild accessions of triticum turgidum ssp.
